Here’s a wonderfully crafted piece of early Monet – back when the company when quality jewelry. The late 40's, early 50's fish is solidly cast and handsomely designed, in a curved pose which suggests movement.

The pike like fish is goldplated, and has a raised and textured surface design with nice detailing along the body, especially the fins and scales. It has clear faceted rhinestone eyes, measures 2 inches wide at it’s widest point by 2 inches high from top fin to tail, weighs 28.6 grams, and is signed in the pre-1955 signature of Monet in block letters (sans copyright).
