The elegant lines of softly waving cattails are depicted in this handsome and beautifully crafted vintage floral brooch. The well made piece is comprised of hand wrought sterling silver in a floral design of long spiraled leaves and curling tendril for a three dimensional effect. The flower heads are prong set with large faceted glass purple stones of simulated amethyst, in a cushion baguette cut, and which measure 15/16 of an inch in length.
The pin itself measures a generous 2&3/4 inches wide at it’s widest point by 4&1/8 inches high, weighs 24.4 grams, and is stamped Sterling .
